Our culinary adventure begins at the vibrant green market, the beating heart of Dubrovnik’s Old Town and one of my favorite spots in the city. Here, we’ll handpick the freshest seasonal ingredients before heading just one street over to Local, my family’s new space dedicated to cooking, sharing, and savoring authentic dishes. And of course, no proper Croatian experience starts without a sip of grappa-cheers to that!Together, we’ll prepare homemade bread and mussels buzara, a classic Dalmatian dish infused with white wine, garlic, and fresh herbs. We’ll also make hand-rolled macaroni, tossed with olive oil, garlic, and goat cheese for a simple yet indulgent brunch, paired with some of the finest Croatian wines.
To finish, we’ll prepare traditional candied almonds, a sweet local delicacy that you can enjoy right away or take home as a souvenir. This is more than just a cooking class—it’s a chance to immerse yourself in Dubrovnik’s rich culinary heritage, connect with local traditions, and enjoy great food in even better company.
